General Director of Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program visited Parwan province

Mohammad Najib Amiri, General Director of Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program and the field coordinator of the program visited Parwan province to monitor the activities of the program.

The delegation also met with the governor, mayor, and the FPs official in this province.

While thanking the local administration for its support to the program, Mr. Amiri said,” the activities of the CCNPP have been managed in consultation with the provincial and municipal officials, whereas the program will be kicked off from the most affected area.

It is to mention that the first phase of the program includes 40 CDCs and 8 GAs and with the possibility of adding another GA. Mr. Amiri added that efforts will be made in the next phase to cover the entire city of Charikar and no house will be left behind of the activities of this program.

The Facilitating Partner (FP) then briefed the delegation on the activities carried out and presented a plan of future activities. The delegation asked the FP that in addition to wide range of program activities, public awareness must be raised properly and effectively so that it can address vital needs of the people through this program.

Subsequently, the PMU team communicated the existing challenges to Mr. Amiri and the delegation and the possible solutions were sought out to solve the existing problems for effective awareness programming.
