220 Children Gain Access to a Proper School Building in Paktika

Kabul, July 08, 2020 - A school building consisted of eight classrooms, an office, five toilets and a deep well financed by the Education Quality Reform in Afghanistan (EQRA) Project under the auspices of the Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/CCNPP) has recently been completed in Noorabad village, Barmal district of Paktika province.

The successful completion of the school project has promoted the access of some 220 students in the community to a proper learning environment.

Furthermore, a total of 3,023 labor days have been created for both skilled and unskilled laborers during the execution of the school project through Noorabad Community Development Council (CDC).

It is worth mentioning that hundreds of Citizens’ Charter-funded development projects are currently underway, while some of them have already been completed in various communities of Paktika province.
