Children in Aqa Sarai Village to Get Access to a School Building

Kabul, May 21, 2020 – A secondary school building consisted of 12 classrooms, two offices, five toilets and an excavated well financed by the Education Quality Reform in Afghanistan (EQRA) Project under the Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/CCNPP) is under construction in Aqa Sarai village, Kalakan district of Kabul province. 

 

The school building whose construction work is 80 percent completed will promote the access of hundreds of boys and girls to a pleasant environment and an appropriate learning space upon its completion.

 

Furthermore, a total of 2,900 labor days have been created for both skilled and unskilled laborers during the implementation of the school project through Aqa Sarai Community Development Council (CDC).
