Completion of CCNPP projects in Mazar-e-Sharif City

Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program (CCNPP) Provincial Office of Mazar-e-Sharif municipality officially put into services its development projects in a ceremony in Sajadia Five and Band-e-Amir CDC’s located in district 10 of Mazar-e-Sharif city. The ceremony was attended by deputy governor of Balkh province Shojaudden  Shoja, Urban CCAP PIU general director engineer Najibullah Amiri, Mr. Abdul Haq Khorrami Mayor of Mazar-e-Sharif, Mr. Hamed Amiri CCAP Senior Financial Adviser, Authorities of the municipality, CCAP PMU head and residents of the CDC.

At the beginning of the ceremony, CCAP PIU general director congratulated the local residents on the great achievement and encouraged them to increase their care of the projects, planting seedlings along the pavements, and installing bulbs over their house doors, beautification and cleanliness of the environment.

It is worth mentioning that the mentioned projects include concreting 1114 m road and 2228 m drainages of Sajadia Panj CDC and concreting 943 m road including 2016 m drainage in Band-e-Amir CDC. The total cost of the project was 9.3 million AFN plus 25% contribution of the community, and about 3500 people in both councils benefited from these projects.
