159 Children Gain Access to a Proper School Building in Kunduz

Kabul, September 01, 2020 - A school building consisted of six classrooms, an office, three toilets and a deep well financed by the Education Quality Reform in Afghanistan (EQRA) Project under the Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/CCNPP) has recently been completed in Tajikha Gul Muhammad village, Dasht-e-Archi district of Kunduz province.

The successful completion of the school project has promoted the access of some 159 local boys and girls to an appropriate learning environment within the community.

Furthermore, a total of 2,278 labor days have been created for both skilled and unskilled laborers during the execution of the school project through Tajiha Gul Muhammad Community Development Council (CDC).

It is worth mentioning that hundreds of Citizens’ Charter-funded development projects are currently underway, while some of them have already been completed in various communities of Kunduz province.
