300 Children Gain Access to a School Building in Badghis

A school building consisted of six classrooms, an office, three toilets and a deep well financed by the Education Quality Reform in Afghanistan (EQRA) Project under the Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/CCNPP) has recently been completed in Haji Sakhidad village, Qadis district of Badghis province.

The successful completion of the school project has promoted the access of some 300 boys and girls in the community to an appropriate learning environment.

The residents of Sakhidad village have expressed great pleasure over the construction of the school building inside the community. According to them, their children had a lot of difficulties in terms of their access to a proper school building in the past.

It is worth mentioning that hundreds of Citizens’ Charter-funded development projects are currently underway, while some of them have already been completed in various communities of Badghis province.
