Children in Farmankhil Village are Pleased with Access to a School Building

Kabul, May 20, 2020 –A primary school building consisted of six classrooms, an office, three toilets and an excavated well financed by the Education Quality Reform in Afghanistan (EQRA) Project under the Citizens’ Charter National Priority Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/CCNPP) has been completed in Farmankhil village, Paghman district of Kabul province.

The school building promoted the access of hundreds of boys and girls to a pleasant surrounding and an appropriate learning spaceunder the direction of regular teachers that could lead to better attendance and concentration as well as motivation and self-esteem.

Furthermore, a total of 2,086labor days have beencreatedfor both skilled and unskilled laborers during the implementation of the school project through theFarmankhilCommunity Development Council (CDC).
